Glorious Trophies

Gaiety kids bubbling laughter in scarlet delighT
Ladened with trophies of sparkling rusted coppeR
Observing the bounteous man who'd vanished long agO
Rivers of innocence flood the abandoned summer camP
Inside his heart only the old man knows the trutH
Onlooking little kids remind him of his grandson's origamI
Uplifting his blue spirits they leap at bouncing reveriE
Smiling as he hands them his lost boy's glorious trophieS

*This poem has been written using Acrostic poetry form, originated in Ancient Greek and Latin Literature. In an Acrostic poem, the first letter of each line spells out a word related to the theme of the poem. I have used a type of Double Acrostic form where the first letters of each line spell one word and the last letters of each line spell another word from the theme of this poem.*
