Eureka

Sometimes on random journeys, we experience a moment of 'Eureka' in silence which lasts long enough to find peace and happiness. The truth is that it is just our own reflection of contentment which finally surfaces up to everything we do.

We could be doing nothing, or perhaps anything. When we travel, we tend to observe a lot. We observe people, places, incidents and relate them to our lives, our memories, contemplating upon our actions or our dreams.

And once we start observing the minute details of everything around us in that moment, we realize that the parts of our history which shaped us, the people or memories or places that we used to remember do not affect us the way they did earlier.

We get absorbed in the actual, neutral state of mind, which only enhances into happiness the moment we start living the stories or moments around us. We relate to them to our fondest memories, may be when we explored the forests in our neighbourhood for the first time in childhood thinking that we were no less than adventurers, or a random memory of something that we did by breaking all the rules, years ago. We find pieces of ourselves fitting in to define who we can be, without any traces of what happened.

In that moment, we travel, not just outside, but inside our minds, to places we have never seen before. That is the true journey we all must experience every once in a while. It not only serves to bring our innermost dreams to the top, but also cleanses our desires and memories. It brings a moment of joy, when we think nothing of who we were or who we would be.

We live the simple joys of our journey and feel them, knowing who we are. Isn't that something worth experiencing, to travel, outside as well as inside?
