Incandescence

Asteria glides on a turquoise sea

       caressing Luna in indigo hues,

velvet drizzles cuddle a wilted tree

topaz prairies in fragrant whispers fuse.

Golden fireflies flicker with wind to cruise.

In honeyed mist of soothing astral streams

my blue primrose petal dances in dreams,

         your halo orchestrates secrets untold,

          bathed by healing incandescent moonbeams

in darkness your silk aurora I hold.

This poem has been written using the Dizain poetry form which is a French poem or stanza of ten lines, employing eight or ten syllables to the line and having a specific rhyming pattern, as ababbccdcd. I have used ten syllables per line.
